交替传译（Consecutive Interpreting）也叫连续传译 是指发言人说完一段话后，由口译员在现场立即翻译成目标语言给听众的口译形式，发言与口译交替着进行。交替传译在发言人和听众之间扮演交际桥梁的作用。帮助发言人传达思想、观点或意图，也帮助听众理解发言人的思想、观点或意图。更多使用在各种交际场合，如：一般的非事务性的交谈、讲座会、研讨会、新闻发布会、正式的政府首脑会议、记者招待会。
